Up for sale here is a porthole base that was made to show at the green bay show.  it is made of southern yellow popple (Aspen).  very nice colors with a black bleed running though the sides.  the bases sides are 7 1/2 inchs each for a over all 17 1/4 inchs from side to side.  very nice and would make a good competition piece.  Let me know what yous all think.  100 dollars takes this one and thats shipping to your door.

That is a very nice looking base!

I don't do birds but that base would work great for a duck. Put a piece of plexiglass on top and have a duck on the water and then the underwater scene below viewed through the holes.

I got to do i think 2 or 3 of them so far and the final pictures are just great.  never thought anythiing like that could be done.  You taxidermist are all amaizing
