I am by no means a expert in this field. However I do what works for me. I had these antlers laying around since my wife found them. We'll with the help of Mr. T in casting a connector, I finally got around to doing it and took some pictures to maybe help some one doing something similar. Enjoy

I am needing this Hoyt...thank you!  Guy brought me 2 sheds, cut up into 4 total pieces (so they'd fit in his carry on bag) and I've never done a bou...he just wants panel mount so that won't be too hard.  I've already got them put back together.  I was just going to use my reference pics to get the angle set right...now I'll have this too!  Thank you!!!

Fantastic job Hoytman. Very informative. I can see the little Hoytman is well on his way.
I started taxidermy about the age of 16. I was married at 21 and lived in a studio apartment. I remember fish drying in the kitchen over the cabinet bulkhead. I am not allowed to have any taxidermy $hit in the house now. Your photos bring back pleasant memories. Thanks again for sharing. Frank.

I knew their would be one smara @ss in the group.. LMAO, anyway, One could use epoxie skulp and stick a peice intheir and let it harden, I used tape, So the bondo doesnt get up in the hollow stock and touch the (Key stock).. if it does, they will bond togeater and you wont have detachable antlers..

You are correct Russ, I much prefer just using the key stock, but since these were nicely made and sent to me on a whim, I elected to use them.. If you put a release agent or vasoline on the key stock, you can mix the bondo and pour. Insert just the key stock in the antler and you will have the same thing with Zero play. Once they kick, slide off carefully and let cure. Walaa
