I've been reading and surfing and can get no answer as to whether there will still be an exam to get a taxidermy license.
Personally I think it is a waste, but my hat is off to anyone who jumped through their hoops in the past.
It is hard to make any kind of a plan when you don't even know what is required under the new arrangements.

The exam has been eliminated.  It no longer exists.  Taxidermists in PA are now under the Dept. Of Ag not the Game Commission.  If you desire to become a taxidermist in PA you need to call the PA Dept. of Agriculture ask for Mary Martin 717-783-6897 and she will send you an application.  You fill out the application and send in back with the $100 yearly fee.  That's it.
