Hello,
I am still new to taxidermy, and I am going to attempt to mount to oldsquaws, hen and drake. I had a wood base made because I wanted to do  swimming mounts.  Does any one have some examples they could post?  I'm just not sure what to do on the bottom...just sand??
thanks!
Tara

1. You can never put too much "stuff" on it.
2. Clean it ALL and seal it with envirotex/resin or it *WILL* smell...
3. USE REFERENCE!!!
4. Oysters...  Overused and usually not situated in the habitat that is true to life.
5. COLOR!!  Don't forget color!
