ive painted the rocks and ive put my dirt in place   im quite happy with what i have done but what do you use to lock it all in together? i used water base paint and rock base mix  any help please   mark c

You can lock in loose dirt or sand with Elmers glue diluted with enough water to spray through a spray bottle.Just spritz down the area and let it dry.I don't think I'd put it on your painted rocks.First,I don't think they need sealed,second,some water based paints may run,though acrylics usually won't if completely dry.Krylon 1311 might work on the rocks but try a small spot first to make sur it doesn't react with your paints.I really think the painted rocks should be OK without though.

Jim   my biggest concern would be if someone tryes to clean the base with damp rage or something like that the colors would run all over the place . I did use bondo for the rocks and they are large flat and painted with water colors . I wouldnt want trouble down the line so thats way i was looking for the answer  thanks mark c
