After you bought your back drop I was determined to get me one! I actually bought 2. Grin A blue/gray colored one that I haven't opened yet and this one, what ever color it's suppose to be, brown/tan/Orange? When I got home from work tonight and they were here. I couldn't resist playing alittle...So I clamped the back drop to the curtin rod on our bay window  Grin and set up the camera. I woke Deb up and tried to talk her into being my model, but to put it nicely, "NO!"  SOooo, I had to settle for mounts that are in the house. I didn't set up any lights just used the flash on the camera. What'cha think?

Check out Amnova on ebay, they have a website as well.  You can get good deals on backgrounds, lights, stands, lightboxes, etc.  If you add a fill light to the left side to kill the shadows and you'll be set.  I love the base on that Hog.

Hog looks good. Have you thought about possibly entering it into a competition? It looks like it just might be a contender for one of them fancy WASCO awards, or maybe even two....

EJ! Don't scare me like that! I was afraid to look, anytime I see my name in a title I get scared. Whew, glad it was something good.
Looks great, nice soft color. Get the blue one up, I wanna see it too. It's hard to visualize what they'll look like.

Amnova was the company that I got mine from, I just did it on ebay.

EJ,

Great backdrop and pictures!  And, if Bryan had woken me up and asked me to model like you did Debbie, my answer would have been the same, if not worse  Grin

Pretty cool.

To get rid of your shadows when taking pics........use 2 lights facing your subject from both sides....that will eliminate any shadows.

And to get rid of flash feedback (especially on fish, etc.)....use a flash suppressor....I use the EXPENSIVE stuff....I put a piece of kleenex over my flash...stops it!  And if you really want to get expensive, you can get a milky white/clear spray can top/lid and cut a slot out to fit over your flash.

I didn't mean to scare you Becky, But if I did you're going to need therapy after looking at Micheal's head all weekend! Grin I'll get the blue one out and play with it this weekend. I don't know if its the paint or what, but when I opened that one last night it stunk up the whole house.

Those are Russian eyes gifted to me by George when he found out I was taking that piece to Reno last year. I would almost sacrifice body parts to get another set, but so far no takers!  Grin

EJ put a light between your subject and the background, shinning on the background , on the floor shinning up, it will help to make the subject stand out in  the shot. rw
