I was just wondering what everyone uses to fill out bird heads, pheasant wattles and such with and if they shrink when they dry.

They won't shrink up on you as bad if you inject some caulk in the wattles. This will give them a softer, fuller look. Make sure you have the wattles completely split. I like the caulk over the clay as a filler, one, it easier to work around in the wattles, and two, you get a more natural look. This is just my oppinion though. Good luck.
