We have fishing here in Baghdad and i would love to get a replica of one of them but i have not been able to find anyone who carries anything of the sort.  We have Asp and Manger, which is also known as Biaz.  I would like to get a replica of either one of these...anyone got any ideas??

If you can get your hands on the casting supplies make a mold and make your own blank. Thats about all I come up with.

I am about to start packing up to get out of here and the fish i caught were thrown back.  Granted it would be nice to go catch them again, but the Manger is not the easiest fish to catch...the ASP are a dime a dozen.  I just do not think that i would be able to do it.  I know what you mean though...I tried Global fish or something but they never emailed me back.

Do you have photos of the fish?

There are options.
I have done Recreations of fish before. using existing molds and alterations to fully sculpted replicas.
Here is my website http://www.knuthart.com/joshua/taxidermyfish.html

Email me and I would be happy to see what we could come up with.

If you get a chance, could you post photos here? I'd love to see what you have over there.
