I bought a full load of driftwood 250 pcs (cedar) it was full of ants. I store it in a 7x16 pace trailer, set off two bug bombs no more ants

You can have bugs in Cedar to I have cut alot of Cedars that were full of ants. Kiln drying is the only way to kill and keep bugs out. When you kiln dry lumber you reduce to moisture to the point to where bugs cant live in it. Bugs dont drink water they get it from the wood when they chew it. Kiln drying reduces the moisture to 6% air dried lumber is at best 17% a bug can live in a log or board at 17% but at 6% he will die of dehydration and they sence that and dont even try to live there. Any questions call me 715-478-5722 Home or cell 715-889-1704 Bud

If the ants will take sweet food, mix borax into a spot of jelly and set it near the ants on cardboard. They will consume the jelly and the borax will kill them. Works good on the little black ants, not sure about your variety.
