for a few bucks more, you get ones with 250 watts. not sure if they are good or not just saw them - http://www.homefashions.com/product/heaters/87070/250watt-12.5-65-gallon.html

in my opinion these heaters suck. you have to monitor them daily. their temps will change with changes in ambient room temps. you can not set and forget. Plus they break easily. I work for a pet store and can tell you these ones are returned more than any other ones. Get a titanium fully submersible thermostatically controlled one. such as finnex.

This is the ONLY heater I have found as well as bonez that gets above 100 degrees.  They do break easy...BUT they are cheap.  DUH.......wildturkey......I would love for you to post to us which titanium ones go over 100.  Then I will believe you!
