i just mounted a turkey for the shop and was thinking of doing a pedestal mount instead of hanging on the wall like all the other flying ones,has anyone done anything like this or have any ideas or pictures?Thanks! Mike

How about a fence post or a tree? Or a small thick branched bush of some sort?

I dont do birds but could you attach it like you do ducks but on a bigger heavier duty scale?
  Have it comeing over the top of the bush or dropping down from a tree branch, or flying over the fencepost?
