I'm new to taxidermy and I know nothing about water, I've looked in tutorials and couldnt find much about it. I need all info I could get from what to buy too what I need to make it. If anybody could point me in the rite direction I would be thankful. Oh and pictures would be a plus too lol
Thanks Jude

For shallow water scenes nothing beats envirotex. Mix part A to B equally , as simple as that. You can buy it from Michaels or A.C. Moore.

Kind of depends on what you are using it for...what type of habitat.
I prefer either the WASCO artificial water or the Envirotex...

Both are relatively easy to use.

I'd start off by purchasing this manual....it's a good starter for habitats...

I use the pellets Van Dykes sells and put foil in a pan and sprinkle them around pile them up etc in different shapes and bake them in the oven until they melt.
Then you can glue them together to make different shapes and sizes of splashes.
Here are a couple of pics for reference to what I was talking about.

ooops forgot to tell you also I use envirotex for most of my pours but if I'm needing ripples and such I use the artificial water from WASCO.
