when i do alterations. of the legs i first mark with a sharpie where the joints are at  then cut where the sharpie marks is .. put wires through both legs or at the ankles deepending where your altering .it keeps from making an unnatural look. then what i do is i bend the wires till the legs and ankles fi  on the habbitat( it may take you a while to get used to but once you get it it gets esayer) . then when i have it all right and it fits .i bondo it and hold the leg til the bondo drys ..then when bondo drys i use either spray foam . or skulping epoxie... with the spray foam i where gloves because its hard to get that stuff off your hand ..  ok .. so with spray foam you just spray the foam and fill the open space in .it would say over spray it then when drys cut the extra foam off to make the shape of what the leg should look like... i wouldnt say to use this for bigger animals than coyote.. its simple  not strong with the bigger animals you would use a foam kit  and wrap the area with plastic wrap then pour..... also the spray foam works great to fill in neck  alterations.. but bondo first  then spray it . hope this helps a little for some people. also tell if im missing something  .i did really fast before going to school...   Grin .. i will get try to get some pics of it when i  alter my red fox if i need to alter the legs
