Judging a base

I completed a competition piece for a show this weekend and planed on having the base judged. I used sceneray resin for a small pool of water in one corner, it seemes over night a small amount of resin seeped through the corner to the underside. It is not noticeable other than around the waters outer edge in one spot that looks a littel crystallized / cloudy. Its to late to attempt to repair now, I am not sure what a judge looks for or counts off for when judging bases?? Any prediction on what i can expect from that problem ??

It just depends on whether or not the base in its entirety grabs his interest, meaning he might overlook it if it doesnt draw his eye to it. You'll most likely get dinged for it. Thats the risk with having it judged, but at the same time you'll probably learn something like when he says to always seal the inside edges with clear silicone. Good luck withit.
