Nice looking Bass Jimmy. I love the relaxed poses. gives the fish a real attitude.

Here is my fish for the week.
A Koi i finished up for my wife.
she loved seeing them when she was in Japan.

It is 15" and a custom replica, the base is bamboo and the koi is painted on tea stained rice paper with watercolor and ink. I still need to put my signature on it but my Kanji isn't all that great. Shakey hands Cheesy

Josh you have definitely set the bar really high this week. I think that whole presentation is one of the best pieces I have seen on here. Sometimes things just seem to naturally fall in place for me and I am able to step back and say "wow", but most of the time I am left scratching my head wondering what is wrong with a piece. Well I am stepping back now-WOW. Great job.

Josh, That is an absolutely gorgeous fish. The background presentation of it is positively Top Shelf. Great Job.

Very nice bass jimmy. Boy, I think I've seen about 100 bass on here with 100 different looks yet they all are great pieces of art work.
Awesome karpoli Josh. I think you're turning Japanese..I think you turning Japanese!!! Atleast I THINK so.
Here is a walleye that was caught and mounted back in "92" It's the second largest walleye ever caught in the state of WI. weighing in at a whopping 16.44 lbs.
The whole piece is showing wear and damage from getting hauled all over Gods creation.

Nice fish this week.

Josh, I LOVE that koi.  Very nicely done.  Great display.

Perk, love that pike as well.  The tail sticking out of the mouth is a nice touch.  Smiley  Way to go.

Jimmy- WOW!!! Goodness but that is a FINE looking largemouth...

Josh- I have absolutely no idea what constitutes a good koi; I don't think I've ever even seen one. But I do know that fish looks like it could start flopping while hanging on your wall, so it seems to me it's a pretty incredibly good fish. I also love the fact that you supply a nice element of diversity for those of us who see largely the same thing a lot. By the way... you finished it for your wife? How do I get my wife to give me a "honey-do" list like that?  Cheesy

Marc- Terrific walleye!! And what a pig!

Perk- That's a very nice looking pike; well done! I agree with you on the mouths, and on more species than pike. Something closed or partially open is so much better looking. But the client's always right... right? lol
