vERY NICE SHOTS,, but would like to add,  that when holding a bird,  the eyes become exagerated due to the bird being scared to death!!!  Not a natural eye set  fyi...

thank you for the info, i did not know that... maybe the feather placement could be used for reference still... Grin

Thanks for posting the pics. I'm mounting a couple of chukars now, so they'll be helpful. The first couple of pics show a more natural eye shape, but the others a great for feather detail, etc.
