I was going to mount a small porky wwith a Fisher I am mounting. I never done one before. Is there anything you have to watch out for besides the quills. Thanks Mark

Mark, they are pretty easy to mount as there isnt much to do but make sure they fit and sew them up but I did an African porky and man alive watch out for the quills. There is no avoiding them but I would encourage you to mount it as they make a great mount. Just get a lifesize full body thimble. LOL

The only thing I can think of more slightly irritating than the quills is making sure all the fat is removed priior to tanning. I didn't lose alot of quills with mine because i folded it flat against newspaper...not alot of sticking room on newspaper and a bare floor for the quills
