I'm getting ready to mount a white/smoke colored turkey hen. Was thinking of putting her in front of a stone wall about 3ft long X10 inches thick X 2 1/2ft tall. Do you think this will be to much & take away from the mount?

Intertesting. This question has at this point been read 327 times and no answers. I'm wondering if you intend to build this wall as part of the mount or if you mean the wall is already somewhere and you plan to place the turkey in front of it.  If the wall exists already I would say you can get a good feel for it just by standing the mount there before the bird is finished but if you have not done the wall yet I think it sounds a bit massive. What about a rock wall that angles down a little like where a wall ends? An old wall that is sort of falling down on the end with plants growing between the stones. A little less mass and more interesting than a straight wall. My thoughts, Aaron H.
