My dad and I are looking into trying to make replicas we're just waiting to find a big enough set of mule deer horns. what in everyone opion is the best supplies to use and are the easiest to use? Whats the fastest and easiest technique to making antler replicas? Thanks

OK! Here's some good advise.  You need to get your feet wet by molding something simple so you can get a feel for the molding and casting process(s).  I molded many things before I ever attempted a set of antlers. Rocks, noses, duck heads and feet, replacement tines, etc. I probably had cast a hundred different things before I felt competent to attempt antlers.  I've been doing antlers for nine years now and I still learn something with each new set.  You can throw a lot of money away in buying expensive molding materials, if you don't have some idea of what you are doing.

That's the best that I can do.  Everyone has their own ways and methods and products of choice, to say that one is better than the other would be foolish on my part.  I know what works for me, but I also know others who can't and won't do it the way I do.
