Peggy, the most outstanding Cape buffalo horn mount that's out there today is done by Jonas Bros. Taxidermy Studio in New York. (www.jonasbrotherstaxidermy.com)  So attractively detailed are they that many hunters are now choosing this method of displaying their antelope and bovine species when space to hang wall mounts is limited. The originals were modeled by Louis Paul Jonas and are now known as "Zoological Art". No other studio to my knowledge has ever offered mounts like this to the sporting world so you may care to check it out for yourself. If you should call there and either Mary or Carl Pepi picks up the phone, just tell them JJ sent you. We literally came up in the business together.

The word "innovative" was made for the original Jonas Brothers; Coloman, John, Guy, Leslie and Louis. They were light years ahead of their day. They were the first to develop the pedestal table mount using all kinds African plains game and even some north American species too. I sure hope Peggy does her buffalo like that and posts some photos of it here.
