Something smells fishy?
Top of fish to dark. Can it be lightened

I just finished painting a walleye and the top of it turned out to dark. Is there a way to lighten the top of a fish with another color so I don't have to take the paint off and start over.

Like Brian said tipping that area with powders will lighten that area up a lot. powders like a dark canvas.

I agree with the rest of the gang. Tipping should do the trick.

You could spray a lt.-med. coat of yellow/gold pearl(425?) then a lt coat of med green #51-transparent not the opaque then come back with opaque green #61 to darken to your taste. If it is to green the spray a lt.
mist
of intense red(380?) to help reduce the green. Then do your tipping.
