Thank goodness for PM's and caller ID Russ. You phoned me on Thursday night at precisely 11:00 PM, remember? Maybe you were having a better time in Texas than we were having in Connecticut huh, LOL!!
Wayne, you did a fine job of keeping the peace on our table. Someday you'll be well certified for a consiglieri position.

Russ, you are right I'll never be the same again!

Fred, any photo that has anything to do with the NEAT that I might be in, you are more than welcome to use including this one.

I should say our good friend Bruce Rittel was the one who took the photo. I asked him to take it after I realized what I got myself into.

John, Just like with Richard I always learn something from you. I think the whole world needs to know what a softy you really are though. What you did for that little girl was just great. You're tops in my book.

My grandfather told me when I was a kid "there isn't two Italians that can get along for more than 10 minutes without arguing" , he was correct.
It was a great show and I had a great time.  In the short span of the NEAT show I did manage to put Janelli on the straight and narrow.
Thank you Wayne for you bravery. Also congratulations on winning the "Christoforo Award for best Gamehead, a Caribou.

Richard,

Your friendship has meant a lot to me over all these years. To personally know you, share a room with you while we were at the show, and sitting at the same table when I found out that the Caribou had taken the Christoforo Award means more to me than most people may understand.

Joeym, it was entertainment all night, and JL the topic of Italian food did come up!

I mentioned earlier that JJ did something for a little girl at the banquet but no one seemed to pick up on it. I'll try to keep this brief but I don't want to leave too much out. JJ bought several arm lengths of raffle tickets to help support our association. There was an adorable 3 year little girl at the next table over from us. JJ gave her all of his raffle tickets. With all of the tickets John bought she should have won half the gifts on the table. After the last raffle ticket was called the poor kid didn't have a prize in front of her and her lower lip quivered and a tear in her eye devastated John. JJ left the banquet and went shopping. A little while later he shows up with is own little gift. After talking to Jean Roll they decided another raffle ticket was needed. I called Fred over and JJ gave Fred a spare ticket from the table and Fred relayed the information to Steve who was auctioning off various items at the time. With an extra ticket in the little girl's hands, Steve announced there was one more raffle to run. Steve read off the numbers, and what do you know the sweet little girl won the prize and could not of been happier. I don't know who had the bigger smile JJ or the little girl.
