I'm doing my first deer head on a octagon pedestal and wanting help with how to build a habitat on the top? thanks Rob

I will suggest some artificial rock and maybe some grass in the habitat. Maybe one bigger rock where you can attach the head and then smaller rocks beside that and little grass growing on the sides. Or some branch...? My idea was that,hope helped!
