The Week in Fish Pictures~ Year 2# Week#37

Welcome from Hinsdale New Hampshire! It is always great to be home however I must say it was a week to remember seeing one of the coolest Taxidermy gatherings in the country in Boise and to share time and one of the most increasable moments in my taxidermy career with my friends form the State of Washington was a precious memory that will long last for me in the archives of Wisdom for some time to come!

Been a wonderful week for The Week in Fish Pictures WOW!  With every great week we all shared in the work we do as taxidermists with our fish pictures! There was some really inspirational fish work last week I hope you all had a great week my friends and family of Fishheads!!! Lets start off with some Big time thanks to our great contributors this past week!

Great work last week by jemmick, RP, fishstuffer, John C, GulfcoastWF, Mike Kroessig, Denny, Jerry, TheShed, Danny Patterson, Dave Campbell, costco man, Russ, and almt1012!!! Super work and Big thanks for sharing and aspiring all of us!

From beginner's to the best in the world we all join in every week in a critique free and hassle free string with nothing more then great artist and inspiring fish taxidermist and carves get together to share with one another their praise and inspiration of good will and friendship to one another.

I thought I would start the week with a few really great pictures from The 6th Annual Western Regional show. Here are a few Great fish from my friend and fellow Fish head from the beautiful Sate of Montana North American Champion Mr. Dennis Nelson!

So here goes!

I hope you enjoy the week!
So with out further ado lets get week #37 under way.

So here we go and here is to a great week in fish pictures!!!! #37! Enjoy!

Uncle Dave, Jeff, Pete, and Dan thanks for feeding me and sharing your cool lives with me! PNW is truly the Mecca for the pace of great fish work in the world of Fishheads! Pete Harum wrote during the week if you have a chance to share time with your fellow Fishheads do it… that’s a big oh yeah!

My Best!

Nce start this week. Dennis' fish are awesome. Nice carp there RP. I had a customer call a few months ago and he said "I just caught the same fish I caught last year and I want it mntd." I thought "yeah right-same fish- uh huh" This is what he brought me-

After seeing the fish I understood how he knew the fish. It is one of those genetic malfunction, born near three mile island fish. Here's the finshed repro. The fish is only 4 1/2 in. long.

Wow! A mirror and a mutant! Nice jobs! This is getting interesting. Here are a couple from last week. Striper has Black Forest eyes.

Walleye shows great transparency of Lake Country fins. Slab is black poplar.

Love the white bass jonny,  I did a couple last week as a joke on a friend.  On a recent walleye charter he went through a stretch where he caught nothing but the white bass.........WOW!  can they loose scales.
