Great week so far. i love all the mounts.  great work guys!
Interesting mutated fish. A friend of mine showed me picture of striper with a similar"pug-nose" mutation.  I wonder if they taste as funny as they look.

Mike, that striper is sicko! Must have been one strong hook set ! Just had to share this one. I found a fishing website that features crappie fishing. Just read the first page......find the spelling error. I just retired from teaching Wednesday, and will get to all the fun stuff with fish work now that I have put off. Still, the spelling error is pretty funny! Nothing like a big, slab fillet of crap to make you want to head out to the lake. lol     www.markcollinsguideservice.com/home.html

This is my son Josh, in whom I am well pleased. He won the only 1st place awarded in the fish category at the Texas show last weekend. I have been wanting to post some of his work for you all to see. Check out the fin attachment. He made a metal fin covered with bondo and carved the rays. Hope you enjoy this piece.

I saw josh's peacock at the texas show.... hard to believe that was a repro! It definately desrved that 1st place. both of the Kellys' fish entries were incredible and it was nice meeting both of them.

Still in uncharted waters... here are my third and fourth attempts at doing fish.  my second and improved coney reproduction with hard curve. a little bit different than birds Wink
