Ha all,

Anyone have a good supplier for small glass cases for skulls?
I checked the suppliers at the top of the page already. Any help would be great ! Oh, and Happy Fathers Day Fellas.

Craft stores (Michael's in New England) often carrthe type of display cases called shadow boxes. I'm looking around for cases, too. Lexan is better than glass, I think, because it's unbreakable. It gets pricey, though. One 24x30. a few inches in depth. goes for $50.

I try to watch the sales ads for Hobby Lobby and Michaels. They often put their frames and wall decor on sale for 50% off. I try to grab a couple when I can. But they also have the cases to enclose footballs and basketballs, which are normally around $50. They'll work great for smaller birds. Grabbed a couple of those last time out. Sounds like they'd be great for what you're doing.

I came across some FREE display cases when a small museum was remodeling and just wanted to get rid of them. They (5) were about 24 x 18 x 3-4 inches. Each could display several skulls of small birds and mammals. So keep your eye out for libraries, museums as they remodel or close.
