Hello

I'm going on a hunting trip to africa and I will need to make some head casts. The only thing I will be able to cast with will be plaster of paris. I hope I can get some.

What I need to know is what do you recmmend for a release agent for cast the face with the hair on with out it doing damage.

Thanks

rub a good coat of petroleum jelly all over the areas you wish to cast and slick down all the hair and whiskers to prevent them from pulling out.

Mix your jelly with a little mineral spirits to thin it our, this will allow more detail with a thinner coat of mold release. Tim
