So what happens in the long run? Won't that skin lift off the eye due to the climate? If there is no solid structure holding the eyelid, I.e clay,  then u solely relying on your glue and apoxie?

My teacher used this method for 30 years without ever having a problem with the eye skin lifting off.  It sounds like many others also have had similar experiences.

i use critter clay for it also. what i do is if the critter clay is still a little moist i just press it lightly against it. if its not moist i put exterme softing gel on the around the eye let it sit for 15 minutes or so put a little put of hide paste (and i meant a little bit) on the clay and lay the down then feel around to make sure theres no clumps of hide paste and its all even.

The only method I've ever used...tryed the tuck once....ended up taking the skin off the form...trimming lids...and re-mounting.......try putting a little knoblochs (or other)tanning cream on lid (and nose) with a small paint brush after adjusting lids...will slow drying down and control shrinkage.
