I will be mounting a year and a half old deer but I wont have the antlers. All I have to use is for small antlers are some loose ones I cut off (so their like sheds) and ones that have the skull plate cut for a antler mount.  My questions are would one of those skull plates for sheds work for a year and half old buck with small antlers and can you add to a skull plate to rebuild it so it will work on a form and whats the best way. Thank you for your time and help.

Sounds good. Could you borrow me $25.00? :D Actually I have some antlers with sentimental value I would like to put on a shoulder mount. I harvested them before I got into the mammal part of taxidermy.
