The Week in Fish Pictures~ Year 3# Week# 7

A warm and hearty Hello from. Hinsdale New Hampshire!  Well it has been a bit warm here as of late I think my new friend Martin Green brought the warm weather with him from Australia. Another week has come and gone and we sure keep raising the bar of inspiration and the pursuits of better fish work my fellow Fish Heads!

In the next few weeks I hope to share Martins work with you he is learning here with us for the next month. Martin enjoys the Taxi net and has been inspired enough to leave his home for the first time to get on an airplane and travel 26 hours in pursuit of his dreams. Now that is inspiring!

I want to thank all of the great contributors who really show not only great talent and work but rather give such inspiration to all of us!

Mr. Rich Harter!!! You sir are not just a great taxidermist but a great guy as well!!!!! Always great work Rich!

A great week Fishheads!!!!!

From beginner's to the best in the world we all join in every week in a critique free and hassle free string with nothing more then great artist and inspiring fish taxidermist and carves get together to share with one another their praise and inspiration of good will and friendship to one another.

I thought I would start off this week with a mess of fish pictures that show some detail inspiration this week. I wanted to share Pat McGruder's finished Tarpon as a whole shot and some detail and anther family member of Angler s Artistry Travis Jones asked me if I could post some of another member Mr. Eddie Casas recent work. This is also a full shot of Eddies Bass and some of his detail work for the start of the week in fish pictures week of detail inspiration! I sure hope you all enjoy!

I will mention that with friendship and a wiliness to help others is also a highly regarded form of admiration I have for both of these great gentleman!

I hope your week is productive and your freezers a bit lighter. Make money this week and be safe and enjoy your life and your gifts!

So here goes!

Wow, that is some superb looking fish work, both from a distance and up close - very well done Eddie and Pat!  I look forward to seeing more of both of your work in the years to come.

Yay! - another Brown Trout came up on my backlog list, and here it is.  This is a Dennis Arp 28" cast.  It had really l-o-n-g jaws that kind of made it look like an Atlantic Salmon, but I sliced and diced them down to something more typical.  This first picture is one taken in incandescent light, and the second one is taken in flourescent light.  It never ceases to amaze me how different light brings out certain colors more prominently than others.

Rick, Thanks for the kind words. If your'e ever in Oregon again, let me know ahead of time as I would like to meet you.

That bass is very nice. I really like the closed mouth version. I wish more of my customers would request that. Nicely done!!
That Tarpon is excellent as well.

UFD- I really like the brown! Lokks great in either light!

This week I had to change to a warm water fish, so it took some adjusting. This is a 8lbs 11oz Largemouth and the blank was from Bev's. I've also included my customers pic of the actual fish.
