I have a mounted wood duck. I was preparing my house for selling so had to pack it away for a few months. Now that I've moved, I opened it up, excited to be able to display it again and found that being shut up in the box caused mold to grow, covering the feet only. What is the best way to get this cleaned off?

Thanks all!

D

If you are not a taxidermist, I would recommend you take the bird to a reputable taxidermist.  The feet will need cleaning with denatured alcohol or a mild bleach solution to kill the mold.  The feet will then need to be repainted and sealed.
