The eyeset on that velvet deer is getting dangerously close to a live deer! Your classes are getting beyond just training. You guys are discovering and developing new standards.

Rick, with your creation used as reference and John's talent, that's a sure recipe for success.

Rick, I really appreciate those nice comments about our work here especially coming from you as one of the World's BEST deer head guys.  Here at our school your reference deer head is a BIG part of our Instructions on explaining eye sets and ear butt placement and shapes.  I want to complement you on designing such a outstanding reference or charge out head.  Also, when I traveled to WACO, TX and doing a class down there with Mrs. Becky Phillips we used your reference head a lot.  Again, Thanks Rick and Mrs. Becky for those nice comments.

I am enclosing photo's of Mrs. Becky sculpting deer eye's for her mounts using Rick Carters newly designed deer reference head.  I think we did so many eye sets with Mrs. Becky that she was having dreams about setting deer eyes... ha....

Many Thanks,

John Griffith

We had another busy week here last week and I want to say Thanks to Troy Walter of Toledo, Ohio for choosing Griffith's Big Game Head Taxidermy School for his learning center.  We both had a great time mounting up whitetails and explaining details such as eye setting and earbutt placement and thickness.  Thanks again Troy for your business.

If anyone else is contemplating any Big Game Head Training we would like for you to take a serious look at us.  Many Thanks and we hope to hear from you.

Best,

John Griffith

Thanks John, and what a three days it was. Being new to taxidermy, I had no idea where to start or what class to take. So I called John and after talking to him for a few minutes I knew he was the man. John takes you step by step till you get it right. I think I reset the eyes on the one deer about ten times. Anybody wanting training should call John. Thanks John for all your help. Bonnie and I will be back next spring to see you.
Thanks:
Troy

LOL, did you dream of eye setting and wake up thinking about them? I did.
Great job.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I just got back from a Police Graduation up in Mansfield, Ohio.  One of my Taxidermy Students who is well know in Ohio is now Officer Traven Rowe.  Just wanted to say thanks for the Special Invitation you extended to my wife and I and we really enjoyed your graduation.  Officer Traven Rowe was Valedictorian of his class maintaining an awesome average of 98.9 for six stressful months at the North Central State College where they have a Police Academy.  Congratulations on being a Police Officer kinda reflects on my personal career as being in Law Enforcement for 36 years.  Again Congratulations and I have enclosed a photo of he an I.  Thanks.

Best,

John Griffith
