or "think" they know. The ones that really know, appreciate it some much more. The ones that think they know, are a royal PITA.

You guys  are real tough on your customers.....I would say that most of you probably would have as much knowledge about what most of your customers do for a living as they do about what you do.  The one thing I have learned after 40 years of it is don't bite the hand that feeds you! ;D

That's why you're a studmuffin because you are absolutely right studmuffin! :-)  Customers that know what's up sure keep you on your game.  They're the ones that keep you challenged!

I worked in a couple taxidermy shops early on that awakened me as to just how crooked some shops can be. I saw some stuff go on that if the customers knew about they would have hired themselves a lawyer! I swore I would never do what I seen happen and I never did. I found honesty is always the best policy.  There is a lot of trashing of customers on here but I will venture there are a lot of shady taxidermist also that need trashing. They are the ones who give the art a bad name. OK...I will get off my box now!

Idon't mind the ones that do know, like someone said here, it keeps you on you toe. It's the ones that think they know that really know just enough to be dangerous. (annoying)
