Please critique. Also, this form is missized. This is a WDB5CM advertised as 10 1/2 x 62. NOT!!  62 x 11 1/2  actual size. This  snake was 62 x 10, big difference. My arm was sore from rasping. Arrgghh!

Looks pretty good Roger! I don't like to critique mounts from a picture because it can be deceiving. What I can see is you hit all the marks well. Maybe the eye could have been set a little more forward looking and the pupil more vertical, but again could just be the picture. Wink I have to mount a western on the same damn form soon! Thanks for the mi-sized info! Smiley

Roger thats a good looking snake and what a hoss....geeezzz, a big sucka.

A couple things that I see, could be the picture but im having trouble seeing the definition on its lip line between upper and lower. Also i dont think this is your fault and its just my opinion but I dont like how that form sends the tail so high up off the ground and it looks strange from the transition, it looks like the tail almost goes into a 90 degree bend from horizontal to vertical not quit but clsoe just looks strange. Also i see the pupil slit needs to be set a bit more verticle like PY said.

All in all I like it and think you have done well.... Wink

Hopefully mine! Smiley  I got another 57" to mount last weekend.  We were blood trailing a deer in the dark, faces down by a bush when we heard the tick..tick....tick!!!  Has a few broadhead holes to fix up now!

Nice mount Roger.

Thanks guys! Ya'll are good for just looking at bad pictures. The head was in bad shape from a .45 caliber so it was rebuilt mostly. Hopefully the next 2 will be better. One @64" and one @ 66". All from the same guy. I think I'd get off that lease! Thanks again for the input.
