I know it's not perfect, but I had some problems figuring the whole thing out.  I had to repair the antlers first, as the guy dropped them and the skullcap was broken.  I had no idea what I was doing, as I didn't learn anything about mounting antlers at my apprenticeship.  I found a great tutorial online after I was already done with the darn thing.  I didn't have room to tuck the lacing very well, but did the best I could.  This is for a friend, so he'll be happy no matter if I made a few mistakes.

I like it. it has it's own character style and all horns are just that way. Color contrast is great with everything

Thanks guys.  I delivered it this morning and my friend loved it.  I've seen some interesting fabrics and such being used on antler mounts and figured I'll play around with them on my own mounts. 

I hope each and everyone of you have a successful year, and this deer season brings you tons of work!
