Got an early start today. Had these wired up before taking kids to school.

I definitely have a new appreciation for you guys that do this every day. I usually do about one bird per month, this really turns into work.

[They are one of our most common birds, and agree on grooming.  Giraffe necked sob's.

Worked on this today, we do not see as many pintail in this good plummage up here in the north and I do find them one of the more difficult birds to pose and groom.

That coffee table pile keeps getting bigger and bigger!  Cool Collection.  Are you going to do any habitat or just the table?
Nice pintail Feather.  I just finished a couple myself.  Maybe I'll set up a photobucket acct ??? and and post after lunch.

Here are my 4th and 5th mounts (all ducks).  This was also my first time using arti water and ice.  I learned a lot of DOs and DON'Ts on these two, mostly DON'Ts.  I even dug one of them out of the trash one morning, after a long....rough night >:(.  I see I also need to repaint the feet.  (without blue!)
