nina, the pose is perfect on your bird....also the fluff is what makes them look alive....you nailed it....great work

NEVER GIVE UP..lol...i made a huge misstake when mounting up this lil guy so i had to get creative and do a pose that will go with another cockatiel....

thanks man... i know i've got a ways to go to get in the league of most of you guys, but again, carving out that form to match the real body like you suggested helped tons.

Painting up a pheasant.  I shot this bird 45 minutes out of of Minneapolis on the last day of the 2010 season hunting with my best friend.  I guess it would mean more if I could have hunted with someone I've never met who would have paid me.  :-[

With the removable tail. I have been putting mounting this for quit a while. It was actually quit easy especially compared to a turkey. This is going in my wifes office.
