I can't stop looking at those little chicks.  The birds, the egg, the habitat, the mixture of colors are freakin' awesome.

Thanks guys appreciate it.  The egg is a replica also.

For years I was promised chicks by people, only to be let down.  Finally found a place to obtain them.  All died of natural cuases.  I now have gone from waiting for years to having 36 of them in the freezer.  Go figure.  Wanted to do a nest scene in the same manner as looking over a cliff that is what you would see.

I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your birds.  You seem to be posting a lot of birds recently and I enjoy veiwing the work.

Herring Gull chicks.  Some could also be Lesser Black Backed but at that age you cannot tell.

I've been on a bender here lately with a lull in my day job.  Things are about to bust loose mid July so I'm trying to catch up on all my hunting buddies birds.  Have about 15 more to do(3 for friends, 12 for me).  It's kinda starting to feel like a job.
