Dental formula: A dental formula is a standard number of teeth that a certain mammal has. This formula can be very helpfull when it comes to identifiying a skull or if you have a bottom jaw of an animal and have no clue what it is. All this information comes from The Wild Mammals of Missouri. First of all reading a dental formula.
