Where the hot spot for good fine excelsior for wrapping bodies. Heard there was the regular excelsior from vandykes and what not then the little bit higher quality stuff. Working on my first wrapped critter this week.  Wish me luck.

A wrapped neck and carved foam head done some time ago. This young fox is actually a  first experiment in using dp in the larger of the  mammals. I love this thread, great work everyone. I have now recieved Snowhare's DVD, wrapping small birds. A great dvd showing how to mount starlings. I've learned lots of tips from it. Keep the mounts coming. stargazer.

Thanks to snowhare's mounting a domestic dog DVD, I accepted a pomerainean in for mounting a couple weeks ago.

I also have saved the skinned carcasses of a bunch of stuff, and done up a mink and a squirrel, plus a small skunk too I think, with the leg bones cleaned but still hooked to the skins. All my spring and summer projects to do around my customer stuff.

Snowhare, did you see the guy listing all the ermines for sale in the for sale section? I hope you saw his pics and it made you really excited LOL.
