Wow Taxos, very cool and well done! :o


A rooster I just finished for my brother...that's completely wrong.  The wing should be out over the side pocket and the tail should be lower, almost level really.  I hate doing fantasy birds but it was worth showcasing the side pocket and having the tail higher so that it fits the space (he emailed me the pic) then hearing him complain about it if I did it the way it should look.

Glad to be done with my pheasants and moving on to waterfowl.

Taxos - I don't think people really appreciate just how SMALL those are - they are TINY - I have a few very beautiful specimens in my freezer I've been nervous to do because of their size - hope my comes out half as good as your

Thank you all! Jbird, this boid is actually large compared to other tweeties. The size of this tanager is just aboutt good, sparrow sized. Just give it a try, and take your time to skin it :).
