Hi guys, Ive got a couple nice 12 in perch to do but they have been in the freezerfor a while.  When they were caught they were nice and plump and fat. Now they have gotten kind of flat on the sides.  I like the half cast method for perch and gills. Is there any way i can plump them back up for casting?  Was thinking of trying to inject water up the anus to try to give them the full plump look again, is this possible or is there another way i can get the fullness back for casting.  Thanks in advance for any help.

if you pump anything into the vent...it will only plump up the viscera cavity...most pump in latex caulk

So injecting caulk into the vent will plump the stomach area back up?

Try rehydrating the fish in ice water for a few hours.  It seems to help with this problem somewhat.
