Hey everyone,

So I'm looking to preserve a pair of fetal deer (very very tiny) in a cube of resin.

I'm assuming I will need to freeze dry them before casting in resin, is that correct?

Also, does anyone have a good idea where to GET resin and a mold to cast them in? Very new to this whole thing!

Thanks for any and all help!!

I would agree with the freezedry.
A mold would depend on the configuration of the animals and size requirements. I think I would go with crystal clear 200 from smoothon for the plastic. Your mold will need to be perfectly smooth like glass for you to get a water clear finish on the plastic. Or you can polish the outside surfaces to a glass like finish. You will also want to vacuum the casting resin to degass the material to eliminate air bubbles.
