I have a gentlemen that was wondering if his bear could be remounted. It was mounted this past December by a pro. taxidermist. It is standing and looks like a baseball player. The front paws look like catchers gloves and there is no tucks under legs at all, just doesn't look right. Can this be rehydrated and done over,it is a big one.

Maybe it can, maybe it can't. How should we know? Is it tanned? Is it glued? Is it DP'ed or nothing at all? Does it stink? An experienced taxidermist could remount it and pull the trick off if conditions were right.
