I got in a 'wet tanned' bobcat hide, the hide was only damp when I got it (no idea how long it had been in the seller's freezer).  I tried to rehydrate it for a day, and it helped a little but it still feels like it is made of cartilage rather than hide. The hide seems much thicker than other bobcats I've worked with.  I have it wrapped up tight in a plastic bag and I'm sweating it in the fridge.  Any thing else I can/should do, anything can't/shouldn't do?

Thanks!
