So yeah I got a small one to degrease, and I was wondering if prolonged use of acetone would cause a ligament mount to come apart?  If this falls apart I'll cry, lol.

acetone is ok for fish. ligamentary tissues will not soften or break down.

Yep. Acetone will only move the grease. It will not soften it or harm it in any way.
