What all is involved in freeze drying a turkey head myself.  Or if anyone has a website on how to do it that would be great also.

I was just reading an article today in Flynn forms book, phone #1-800-878-9373 theres a inject-o-fill solution they sell . They say you can freeze dry your own heads in 3 1/5 to 6 1/5 months. Haven't tried it yet but I'm going to give it a whirl just for the fun of it.

Well, if you don't have a freeze dry machine, I really don't see how you can do a quality job.  You cannot control how the heads dry in a regular freezer.

Flynn shows pics and they look good from what I can see. He is an awsome taxidermist so I would think he knows what he is doing. Must work, and Cally looked up to him so gotta know what he is doing. did them in upright frost free freezer. Comes with instructions.

3 1/5 months?  6 1/5 months?   Those are some weird numbers to choose.
