I'm a beginner and am intrested in any legal permits or licences needed to work in Mass. I am still in the practice and development stage doing mainly fish and roadkills. I want to know if Mass requires Taxidermists to carry any licences - and do you need one to salvage road kills.

the best way to find out what the laws are regarding game is to contact the division of fish and game,of that state. Laws very from state to state. some states won't even allow you to pick up road kill.wile others don't care. most do not require hobiest to have permits, as long as they accept on money for their work.
im from mass, you should get licenced call division of fish and wildlife they will send you a application. cost is twenty bucks. road kills must be tagged. remember the state licence does not allow you to do ducks or geese (fedral birds). good luck and have fun write me when you get going let me know how you like it.
