I just finished a mountain lion skull and wondered what I could put
on the teeth to keep them from drying and cracking. I thought of using
fingernail polish, not sure if that will do it or not. Can anyone tell
me what to use?
THanks,
Eric

Due to the low humidity in our area during the winter months, cracking teeth were a problem. I had good success in solving it by coating the teeth with Envirotex Lite which is a two part clear gloss epoxy. If you can get the teeth out of the skull, I also suggest filling the nerve cavities with five-minute epoxy.
I use a quality brand liquid tile floor polish. just brush it on the skull it is self leveling a lite coat will dry in about an hour.
