I think that archie phillips has a schedule in his book.
however, this is a really easy fish to paint. if you have a photo,
you don't need a schedule,
1.-white on the bottom half and inside mouth
2.--flesh on edges of lower fins and mouth(use reference!)
3.,--paynes gray to darken the back--angle spray to highlight the ribs on the side,
4. if you want the fish with more of a blue hue, go lighter on the paynes gray, and mist a coat of sailfish blue over the top.

usually, smaller blues have a light blue coloration, the bigger fish are darker, and can be done with just paynes gray.

that's really all you have to do! you can make a great looking blue with that simple schedule.

Have fun!
Dave

Since there are so many different fish, painting schedules aren't available for the vast majority of them. Most taxidermists, wood carvers, and flat artists find good references and use them to provide the colors and patterns they need to transfer to their work. The book, Freshwater Gamefish of North America by Dick Sternberg contains both a close-up photograph and an artsits rendition of a blue catfish, as well as for many other fish.
